Listening to folktales in the Home Village In the Tono house in the Home Village where old houses from the Tohoku region are gathered together, listen to the local people tell folktales of the Tono area and Tohoku legends at the hearth on the floor. Experience the culture and life of Michinoku. |

Kamafusa Fireside Club In the Kamafusa house in the Home Village where old houses from the Tohoku region are gathered together, learn about the lifestyle of Kawasaki-machi and wisdom for living from the old days from Kamafusa Fireside Club grandfathers and grandmothers who have lived in Kawasaki-machi all their lives. |

Experiencing children’s games of the old days At the Honjo Yuri house in the Home Village where old houses from the Tohoku region are gathered together, listen to how children used to play in the old days and try top spinning, battledore and shuttlecock, and jumping rope in the front yard and in the house, cup and ball, the Dharma doll game and other games. |

Draw a picture on a wooden tablet In the Minami Aizu house in the Home Village where old houses from the Tohoku region are gathered together, draw a picture on a wooden tablet by burning the wood using a hot iron with a pen tip, called a burning pen. |

Feel Nature Club From young families to grown-ups, fun for everybody. The Michinoku Park Kids Nature Doctors’ Degree Certificate is presented to children (primary school age and younger) who participate in five or more sessions a year. |
Sports

Experience a hot air balloon Enjoy the magnificent views of the Zao mountain range and Lake Kamafusa from 20m above ground for about five minutes (including taking off and landing time). Enjoy the thrill of a trip through the air! Why not try it out? |
